Where the
Children Go
to Play.
Survival is no longer a right.
It must be earned.
A dystopian psychological sci-fi short.
In a dystopian future, two young candidates — Sevyn Thomas and Solana Jackson — undergo a grueling selection process designed to determine their suitability as stewards of a new human race.
Selection in progress.
In a chilling near-future, survival is no longer a right — it must be earned. Humanity is subject to a ruthless selection process, where only the most psychologically and morally “fit” are chosen to carry civilization forward. Inside a sterile, fluorescent-lit lobby, Sevyn and Solana — strangers bound by fate — await their turn.
Separated and ushered into individual interview chambers, they face not humans, but synthetic proctors — hyper-intelligent androids designed to evaluate with cold precision. What begins as a series of simple questions quickly devolves into intense psychological trials. Memories are weaponized. Beliefs are tested.

A future conditional on consent.
World briefing · restricted
A near-future society in which survival is no longer guaranteed. Citizenship has been replaced by qualification. Reproduction is controlled. Morality is measured. Faith is graded. And synthetic proctors — built without bias, raised without mercy — determine who is fit to carry humanity forward.
The system does not call itself cruel. It calls itself necessary.
“Candidates shall be evaluated on emotional regulation, moral consistency, and capacity for self-sacrifice. Pairings shall be determined by complementary deficit. Refusal is not an outcome.”
